DAWLISH CHAMPIONS OF TEIGNMOUTH

Our Tuesday night season of 6 a side football in Teignmouth has come to an end with Dawlish Utd crowned as champions with an impressive 24 points, 5 clear of Paris Ganja Man in 2nd place. Future Stars end a good season in 3rd and Dorsetshire Sauce are 4th. It's been an excellent campaign and one we hope we can build on to grow the league back to two divisions. 

This weeks results saw Dawlish beat Priors Preds 6 - 1, All Cider No Beer got the better of Old Dogs No Tricks 3 - 1 while Future Stars had a great 1 - 0 win over Paris Ganja Man. Our newest side look like they could be a threat for the new season as they ended this one with back to back wins including an 11 - 5 win last night against Dorsetshire Sauce. It will be interesting to see how they get on with a full season of games. 

Fergus McDonald picks up the golden boot trophy for his 21 goals for Dorsetshire, one ahead of team mate Zak Cadrew and the leagues MVP for the season goes to Owen Cayless of Future Stars for his 6 MOTM awards. Well done to both of them, the trophies will be ordered and ready asap. 

We roll straight into a new season in Teignmouth next Tuesday and we have space to introduce a few more teams so if you have been thinking of getting involved in a season of 6 a side, now is the time to register and get started, right at the beginning of the season.
