Don's Ultras hit top spot at Teignmouth 6 a side

It was a drama filled night on Tuesday in Teignmouth for our brilliant 6 a side league at Teignmouth Community College. New side Don's Ultras have hit the ground running and after 3 games have put themselves top of the premier league, albeit only on goal difference. The goal tally was helped massively this week as they went to town on Six Offenders, coming away with an 11 - 0 win thanks to goals from Ben Beeson (4) George Minty (3) Jorv Whittaker (2) and Finn Graham. The door to the top of the table was left open when champions Fourintina met a rare defeat in their game with Sixes and Sevens. Jake Campbell netted twice and Kyle Foster chipped in too and Sixes and Sevens registered the 4 - 3 win meaning we now have 4 sides sitting on 4 points in the early stages of the season. Kroos Control were undone by Unathletico Madrid 5 - 3, Liam Mansell with a hattrick for his side to leave Kroos alongside Sex Offenders in the relegation zone.

Div One is tight too after 3 rounds of games. Ajax Trees Down lead with a 1 goal advantage over Norfolk n Chance who had a great 13 - 1 win over Old Dogs no Tricks this week. Dickie Gregory (5) and Matt Tall (5) the main contributors. Ajax themselves were undone by Fillerwycombe who get their 2nd win thanks to goals from Louis Butcher and Jack Beer while in the final game there was a tense 2 - 2 draw between Newton Wanderers and Paris Ganja Man where a point each was probably a fair result. Jordan Cooke netted twice for Newton and Jonah Wightman and Owen got the Paris goals.

Great work from all the captains this week, brilliant to have a full turn out, something we hope to have for the whole season here. Big thanks to Steven, Dan, Sam and Kev for their work with the whistles, roll on week 4 on Tuesday.
