FOURINTINA CHAMPIONS OF TEIGNMOUTH 6 A SIDE

There were great scenes of celebration at Teignmouth Community College last night as Fourintina were crowned as CHAMPIONS of our Tuesday night 6 a side league.

This was the 1st season using the new two divisional set up and i think it's fair to say it's been a great success. We have seen far more competitive games with all teams having something to play for right until the last night of the season.

Fourintina are deserved champions having amassed 20 points, going the whole season unbeaten and registering a +60 goal difference. Zack Weeks picks up the Golden Boot with 18 goals ahead of team mate and Captain Brad Breslan, well done to Brad and everyone who has been part of Fourintina this season.

Six Offenders finished 2nd with 11 points having won 3 - 0 on the final night, Jacob Forrest wrapping up the season with a hattrick for his team. Unathletico saw off Sixes and Sevens to finish ahead of them on goal difference while Paris Ganja Man and Newton Wanderers have to come to terms with the dissapointment of relegation.

The Division One title was a much closer affair and huge congratulations go to Head, Head & Heady on securing the trophy with a 12 - 3 win over Old Dogs No Tricks. Lance bagging 6 on the night to take home the golden boot award for Division One. Heady finished level on points with Kroos Control who ended with a points win and will join the champions in the Premier League next season. Two Left Week came 3rd and finished off with a 4 - 1 win over Fillherwycombe, a result that leave Wycombe propping up the table.

It's been a brilliant season and there is great interest in this league so we are always looking to expand it beyond 12 teams, as soon as we can we will. For now though it just leaves for me to thank all the officials involved in this season and to wish everyone a great start to the new season which kicks off next Tuesday 8th February, the fixtures will be out really soon !

Cheers gents and well done again to our winners Fourintina & Head, Head & Heady.
