Tewkesbury Monday 6-a-side Football League Week 7 Results

Tewkesbury Monday's 6-a-side football league is now in full swing, with Week 7 taking place last night. The league is divided into three divisions: Premier League, Division 1 and Division 2. There were some exciting matches played last night, with some teams continuing their good form and others looking to bounce back from previous defeats.

In the Premier League, Tewkesbury 6's faced Night Tour in a closely contested match with a final score of 5-4 in favor of Night Tour. Average Joes also had a tough match against Equinox FC, but managed to secure a win with a final score of 6-1. Mellors Fellas had a dominant performance against their opponents, Equinox FC, with a final score of 9-1. S60 FC faced Nothing But Vibes and unfortunately lost with a final score of 7-2.

In Division 1, Tewkesbury Town Colts faced Bikini Bottom FC and secured a win with a final score of 6-3. Real Big Lunch struggled against Dads Army, with a final score of 6-2 in favor of Dads Army. Real Ale Madrid had an impressive performance against Mr Sitter FC, scoring 7 goals and only conceding 1 goal.

In Division 2, Hoff FC played against AFC Has Beens and lost with a final score of 5-4. The Prawns also lost with the same scoreline against Crow Banana Pineapple. San Marino FC and Filler Wycombe played out a goalless draw.

Overall, it has been an exciting week for Tewkesbury Monday's 6-a-side football league, with some great performances from various teams. We look forward to seeing the continued progress of all the teams in the coming weeks.

We did have one unfortunate incident during the fixture between The Prawns and Crow Banana Pineapple with a clash of legs resulting in a possible leg brake and an Ambulance having to be called out to a player from the Prawns. Although we don't enforce wearing shin pads at our leagues anyone who plays football knows its essential for player protection so we advise anyone not wearing shin pads to reconsider and start wearing them.
