Mansfield Sunday kicked off their 6 a side football league season this past weekend, showcasing some exciting games in both Division 1 and Division 2. With only week 1 in the books, there were already some standout performances from both teams and individual players.

In Division 1, Madeline Milan set the tone with a dominant 14-7 victory over Sound Of The Lloris. This was largely thanks to a hat-trick from their striker, who climbed to the top of the goal-scoring charts after their opening fixture. Elsewhere, Kirkby Crabs were also impressive, putting seven past Straight Outta Sutton in a 7-2 win. Leamington Wanderers also put in a strong showing, scoring seven in their victory over Crouch Potato. One of their forwards scored a hat-trick, putting himself in contention for the Golden Boot this season.
