Tuesday Night Thrills as Football League Continues in Mansfield
MANSFIELD - It was a night packed with thrilling action as the Mansfield Tuesday 6 a side Football league pressed on into its third week. Division 1 and Division 2 teams clashed on the pitch, battling it out for vital points to keep their title hopes alive.
In Division 1, we saw a thrilling game between The Cream Team and Bight For Fadge. Despite a spirited effort from The Cream Team, they couldn’t quite keep up with Bight For Fadge who clinched the victory 4-2. In the other Division 1 clash, O.B. City outplayed LALARNA RHODES in a closely contested match, finishing with a 5-3 victory.
Over in Division 2, Kirkby Crabs met "Not Ethan's Team" in a challenging game. "Not Ethan's Team" showed their strength and overcame the Crabs with a 3-1 win. The second fixture saw a fierce fight between Beach Boys FC and Unathletico Madrid, which ended in a fair 3-3 draw.
The top goal scorers for each division this week were Jack Downing from Bight For Fadge in Division 1 and Dan Greenwood from "Not Ethan's Team" in Division 2. Their outstanding performance contributed significantly to their respective team's victories.
