In an exciting turn of events at the Dudley Monday 5-a-side Football league, the ninth week of the season saw some exhilarating matches in both the Premier League and Division 1.

The only absence this week was from Banterlona, we look forward to welcoming them back on Monday.

In the Premier League, Brexit Bad Boys made an impressive victory over FC Springhill, with the final scoreboard reading 4-1. Their strong offensive strategy seemed to overwhelm Springhill, proving that the Bad Boys are not to be taken lightly this season. In another game, Pacesetters FC demonstrated their offensive prowess against The Old Tigers, dominating the field and ending with a triumphant victory. However, the highlight of the division was Sewey FC's overwhelming victory against Blade Runner, with an astonishing scoreline of 7-2.

Leading the Premier League's top scorers list, Jack Foley from Sewey FC managed to score a whopping four goals, contributing significantly to his team's success. His consistent performance and effective striking skills have been key ingredients to Sewey’s FC's victory.

Over in Division 1, Goal Diggers and Sorry Nic Jackson emerged victorious against their respective opponents, Barely Athletic FC and BTEC Boys. The highlight of the division was Goal Diggers' powerful win over Barely Athletic FC, with an overwhelming scoreline. 

This outstanding display earns Goal Diggers the team of the week title in their first night at the league. A very impressive start, lads.

Max Powell from Goal Diggers stole the show by scoring six goals, earning him the top scorer's position in Division 1. His commendable performance did not go unnoticed as he was also declared as the most valued player of the week. His skills, combined with his team's overall performance, have made Goal Diggers a formidable force in Division 1.

As we venture further into the season, the teams continue to battle it out in their respective divisions. The ninth week has set high expectations for the upcoming matches. All eyes will be on star players like Jack Foley and Max Powell, who have given their teams a significant boost in these divisions.
