Play in the Retford Tuesday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

The Retford Tuesday 6-a-side football league was back in action last night for week 2 of the season. The league saw 8 teams compete in three divisions for the ultimate glory of becoming champions.

In Division 1, Baddest Of Them All took on Champagne Superrovers in a thrilling encounter which saw the former come out on top with a narrow 4-3 victory. The other match in the division saw Qatar Wrists go down 2-0 to Farcelona.

In Division 2, Old'an Pathetic secured a convincing 4-0 victory over Leafield Puma’s who struggled to get going during the match.

Division 3 saw two high-scoring matches, with Athletico Clumber and The Gentlemen putting on a fantastic display of attacking football. The Gentlemen emerged victorious, winning 8-3. Meanwhile, AJ Milan and The Academy played out a 2-2 draw in an evenly matched contest.

The league also saw some standout performances from individual players. In Division 1, Baddest Of Them All's striker was the top goal scorer with two goals, while Farcelona's striker also scored two goals. In Division 2, Old'an Pathetic's striker was the top scorer with three goals. In Division 3, Athletico Clumber's striker scored two goals, as did The Gentlemen's top scorer.

The league is set to continue next week with more exciting matches and fierce competition between the teams. With the season only just beginning, there is still everything to play for and it will be interesting to see which teams will emerge as the top contenders in their respective divisions.
