The Eastbourne Monday football league was ablaze with action in week 3 of the season as the division's finest teams battled it out on the pitch.
In the Premier League division, spectators were treated to an exciting match when Casuals and Schindlers Assist went head to head. Schindlers Assist managed to secure a narrow 3-2 victory. Sheffield Monday showed their prowess with an impressive 8-0 win over AFC Jelly Bellies. In the match between Cherbos Turbos and Park The Bus, Cherbos Turbos emerged victoriously with a 3-1 score.
The Premier League's top scorer this week was Alfie Shelley from Sheffield Monday, who wowed fans by netting a total of 4 goals. His superb performance has indeed earned him recognition as a player to watch this season.
Moving to Division 1, 5GuysPlus1 triumphed over YongsFC with a 2-0 score. Bayern Neverlusen showed their strength with a 3-1 win over Get Smoked. Not So Real Betis took a commanding 3-0 win over Greggs United. Raggers FC outshone Two Goals One Cup with a 4-1 victory.
The top scorer for Division 1 was Ollie Clark from Raggers FC, who scored an impressive total of 2 goals.
But the star of the week was undoubtedly Ryan Lucas of Not So Real Betis. Not only did he contribute to his team's win, but his exemplary performance also earned him the title of 'Most Valued Player' for the week. His skilful plays and unwavering commitment are a testament to his talent and dedication, making him a key player to follow throughout the season.
