Hastings Monday concluded its 14th and final week of the season in an exhilarating style, with football teams displaying top-tier performances in the Premier League and Division 1 categories.
In the Premier League division, team Park The Bus emerged as the undisputed winner, boasting a total of 22 points with 11 wins. The team showcased a masterclass performance last night, defeating AFC Jelly Bellies with a whopping score of 9-0. Their star player, Joel Mahoney, stood out as the top scorer of the division, netting a commendable total of 7 goals. Despite fierce competition, Casuals managed to secure a victory against Bayern Neverlusen with a final score of 6-4, while Expected Toulouse edged out a tense 1-0 win against We Showed Up United.
The Division 1 category saw Snoods And Beanies triumph with an impressive total of 25 points and 12 wins, inlcuding a last minutes goal for the title! The division's final round of matches featured a 2-0 victory by Two Goals One Cup over Greggs United, and a 3-1 win for Raggers FC against 5GuysPlus1. The highlight of the division was Ben Steadman of Raggers FC, who clinched the top scorer title with 2 goals.
Bayern Neverlusen's Conor Mcmanus was recognized as the most valued player of the week, displaying exemplary skills and sportsmanship. Despite his team's loss to Casuals, Conor's performance was a standout, reaffirming his status as a valuable asset to Bayern Neverlusen.
