Hastings Monday 6 a side news - Week 2!

In an adrenaline-pumping second week of the Hastings Monday 6-a-side Football League, several teams faced off, marking an impressive spectacle of local football. The event featured two exciting divisions: Premier League and Division 1.

In the Premier League, the Casuals and Park The Bus provided a nail-biting encounter with the latter prevailing in a 2-3 victory. However, the highlight of the division was the performance by Cherbos Turbos who had a dominant 6-2 win over Raggers FC. The standout player was Lucas Zon who netted an impressive hat trick, topping the scoring charts for this division.

Switching gears to Division 1, 5GuysPlus1 endured a heartbreaking 0-1 loss to Bayern Neverlusen. Meanwhile, AFC Jelly Bellies managed a clean 2-0 victory over Get Smoked, demonstrating their defensive prowess. The most thrilling game of this division was between Two Goals One Cup and Not So Real Betis, in which the latter triumphed with a 3-1 scoreline. The highest goal scorer was DAN from Not So Real Betis, who managed to find the back of the net twice.

However, the star of the week was undoubtedly Luke Badrock from Casuals. Despite his team's loss, Badrock's performance shone through, landing him the title of the Most Valued Player of the week. His contributions to his team and efforts on the pitch were widely recognized and appreciated.
