In the heart of Birmingham, week 2 of the highly-anticipated Sunday Football League took place last night, featuring fierce competition from an array of skilled and keenly-matched teams across three divisions - Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2.
In Division 1, AC Northfield capitalized against Unfit FC, notching up a 5-1 win. A great win for Northfield with Tordoffonce again showing his quality and taking home the MVP award
The contest between Team Of Tebilys and SIIUUUUUUU was a closer affair, with Tebilys edging out a 3-2 victory. Tebilys first win since starting with us with Sam the Most Valuable Player.
Slater's Colombians made a statement with a resounding 6-1 win over Six Offenders. The division's top scorer was Jake from Slater's Colombians, netting an impressive 4 goals and was also MVP. Could Slaters be a tip for promotion?
The Division 2 games were equally thrilling. Real Madreadful outlasted Emery Massive, finishing 4-2. The win takes them joint top with top scorer Niall again the MVP.
The Hawks soared above Expected Toulouse in a 7-1 win, with Gaz leading the scoreboards with three goals and also took home the MVP as well as the match ball. Two 7-1 wins on the bounce for Hawks who lead the table at Xmas.
Harry Cokane and Gangsters Allardyce ended in a stalemate with a 3-3 draw in a fully entertaining game. Swansbrook was MVP for Cokane who pick up their first Leisure League points
