Brand new season gets underway with a bang! Great to see everyone in attendance as expected and we still have another space for a team to join!
Backstreet Girls 5 - 0 Tugas FC
The Backstreet girls got their season off to a flying start as they put five past Tugas FC! Every outfield player getting on the score sheet in this one! Stuart Green led his side superbly from the back with some outstanding distribution and a clean sheet to match! Huge shout out to Miguel Carvalho in goal for Tugas FC who despite the cold conditions was still throwing himself about making some fantastic saves!
Points Match 1 - 8 Tellisford United
Champions Tellisford United had an easier opener as they had a points match which saw Terry Askew and his boys from the Thursday League come and play a highly competitive game with some brilliant skill on display! Tellisford go joint top with a 5 - 0 win!
Club Tropicana Drinks FC 0 - 5 The Trowbridge Foxes
Runners up The Trowbridge Foxes continue their good form as they look to push on for the title as new boys Club Tropicana Drinks were unable to make their first fixture, gifting Lindel Gilling and his boys a 5 - 0 win! Thank you to Short, Back and Stomping from our Tuesday league who came up to give them a competitive game!
Six Offenders 5 - 1 Al Bang Ur Nan
Looks like Ben Cann and his Six Offenders have finally found their shooting boots as they managed to put five past an under strength Al Bang Ur Nan! Great performances form both sides in very difficult conditions! Lets hope to keep this standard throughout the entire season!
