Another fantastic night of football up John of Gaunt school in the penultimate games of the season!
The Jamaican Warriors 3 - 4 Al Bang Ur Nan
Al Bang Ur Nan continue their march up the table with a solid 4 - 3 win over The Jamaican Warriors who seem to be falling at the final hurdle! Kevin Deadman with the pick of the goals as he bags yet another long range effort in the narrow win!
Ballack Eyed Peas 1 - 3 BackStreet Girls
Ethan Green put in a brilliant performance for the BackStreet Girls as they look to secure second place! Some fantastic goalkeeping from Stuart Green and a solid foundation at the back provided by Kristian Green was enough to hold off Ballack Eyed Peas even though Ben Fielding bagged the pick of the goals!
Tellisford United 8 - 0 Six Offenders
Tellisford United prove they are worthy champions as they tuck eight past Six Offenders! The scoreline doesn't tell the whole story as the game went into half time 1 - 0 and Six Offenders were denied an equalizer as the Tellisford keeper managed to make an outstanding save pushing the ball onto the post early in the second half!
Congratulations to Harry Ledbury and his Tellisford United boys for securing the first ever Monday night championship! The trophy presentation will be next week and they will be entered into the December prize draw to win the coveted £12,000 football holiday for six to a Bundesliga game!
