WEEKLY NEWS FOR 09th MARCH
Good morning all,
Thank you all for another brilliant night of football up at John of Gaunt school! Apologies to Matt Giles and the rest of Borussia Munchenvadgeflaps since their opponents failed to turn up. I will speak to the captain and clarify the situation as soon as possible.
Premier League
Team apetito got us underway with a well deserved 3 - 1 win over a determined ABCDE FC with Kieran Lucas bagging a goal and being awarded MVP. Exeter Gently kept the pressure on Team apetito with a brilliant 4 - 2 win over Bancoloana. The result of the night has to go to Jude Richards and his team Expected Toulouse for a hard for 1 - 0 win over FC Fusion who now fall 4 points behind second place! Congratulations to Matt Giles and Borussia Munchenvadgeflaps for winning yet another title and being our first team to opt into the Prize Draw!
Division 1
Class on Grass made a brilliant start to the evening securing a 5 - 0 victory over McDons FC, Nathan Conradi being awarded MVP for another superb performance. Bring Back Lloyds have now wrapped up the title with a closely fought 2 - 1 win over Crips FC! Congratulations to Tom Perry and his team, they will also be entered into the prize draw! Ivory Toast kept pressure on second place with a well fought 3 - 0 over Ballers FC. 6 Offenders & Wreckhead Rovers both keep themselves in with a shout for second place with an epically played 2 - 2 draw!
