WEEKLY NEWS FOR 15th MARCH
Good morning everyone,
Thank you all for another brilliant night of football up at John of Gaunt
school! I have spoken to the captain of Teenage Mutant Ninja Skrtels and they
will not be in attendance next week but will be back for the start of the new
season.
Premier League
Expected Toulouse couldn’t make the fixture against Team apetito
which gave them an automatic 5 – 0 win, thank you to Ben Deadman and his team
for standing in for the fixture. Borussia Munchenvadgeflaps continue their
domination of the Premier League with a 3 – 1 over ABCDE FC with Matt Giles
putting in an outstanding performance as usual! Game of the night in the
Premier League goes to a closely contested match between Exeter Gently and FC
Fusion with the home side running out 3 – 2 winners in the end. Bancoloana were
given a 5 – 0 win after Teenage Mutant Ninja Skrtels were unable to make the
fixture. Thank you to the players who formed a team in order to give them a
competitive game.
Division 1
Ballers FC got off the evening off to a great start with a 1 – 0 win
over McDons FC. Crips FC fell to a 2 – 0 defeat against a determined Class on
Grass with Kevin Deadman giving the away side a 2-goal lead with an exceptional
run from deep! Keep an eye out for the footage on Facebook! 6 Offenders
recorded a brilliant 1 – 0 over Division Champions Bring Back Lloyds to give
them a chance to jump into second on the last game of the season! The race for
second place is certainly hotting up with 3 teams now all playing for one spot,
one promotion place and one entry into the prize draw! Ivory Toast recorded a 2
– 0 over Wreckhead Rovers to jump them into second place to make the final game
of the season for all three teams super important!

The prize draw will take place live on Facebook on 29th March so
keep your eyes out for details on that.
I will now be making sure that all match officials appoint an MVP (Man of the
Match) for each game so please make sure you fill out your player cards in
order to qualify!
