WEEKLY NEWS FOR 17th JANUARY

Thank you all for another great evening of football up John of Gaunt School! All teams in attendance as expected except for one who I will speak to and confirm their attendance for next week ASAP.
The Untamed Fitness Premier League
The first game of the season saw champions Benteke Fried Chicken continue their unbeaten start to the season agaisnt Borussia Munchenvadgeflaps, Benteke ending 1 - 0 winners. M78 failed to appear which gifted Club Tropicana Drinks FC a 5 - 0 win, thank you to Rob Maddox and his team for standing in and giving them a decent game. Scoring like Sonogo seem to be coping well in the Premier League after recording a solid 2 - 0 win over Shunt Gunk Utd. Chuckle Vision FC return to winning ways with a convincing 6 - 2 win over stand in team Brockstars! Making Emile of It will be joining the league as of next week to take us back to a full 20 teams on a Thursday! The final game of the evening saw Fc Fusion put in a great performance to see off Class on Grass 6 - 2.
The 3M0 Division 1
Expected Toulouse keep themselves on track for promotion after beating new boys Saigon Express 7 - 1, Alfie Little putting in a Man of the match performance for his team. Magpies Allstars FC get their first win of the season after an inspired performance saw them run out 4 - 1 winners against Madeline Milan FC, captain and goalkeeper Lindel Gilling pulling off a couple of wonder saves to preserve their lead and take home the points! 6 Offenders look on course to push for promotion again after turning over Fossil FC 5 - 0. Performance of the night goes to Stefan Aland and his Freshford Rejects who stopped an unbeaten McDons and put 7 past them! Great result which leaves the top four separated by 1 point! The final game of the evening saw new boys Past It FC get off to a winning start by beating veterans Ivory Toast 4 - 1.
