WEEKLY NEWS FOR 24th MAY

Thank you all for coming out and braving the weather to create yet another great night of football up John of Gaunt school! Great standard of football on display as always!Premier League
FC Fusion got the night off to a flying start beating 6 Offenders 3 – 1 in a great game of football. Andre Ribeiro awarded the MVP. Borussia Munchenvadgeflaps continue their march to another title after seeing off a determined Teenage Mutant Ninja Skrtels 4 – 1 with Tom Parr the outstanding performer. Luke A’court proved the difference in a tight game between Bring Back Lloyds FC and Shunt Gunk Utd which saw the home team run out 1 – 0 winners. Bancoloana lost ground on top spot after falling 5 – 1 to Trow Utd, Bradley Taylor being awarded Man of the Match. In the final game of the evening ABCDE FC saw off White Horse 3 – 1, Nyasha Nhamo putting in a brilliant shift for the victors.
Division 1
Fossil FC put in a fantastic performance to beat Dixie Normous 5 – 0 with Andrew Mulligan getting a well-deserved Man of the Match award. Ivory Toast keep their hopes of promotion alive with a solid 3 – 0 over Expected Toulouse, Dan Townsend the stand out performer. The Freshford Rejects keep pressure on the top spot with a 3 – 1 win over McDons FC. The game of the night goes to the clash between Class on Grass and Tinchy Sneijder. Brad Daws’s team put in an epic performance all round to hold the league leaders to a 1 – 1 draw, Nathan Taylor earned the MVP for his team. The last game of the evening saw Crips Outlawz Fc go up against Scoring like Sonogo who walked away with a 5 – 0 win, Chris Giles putting in another brilliant performance for Scoring like Sonogo. Thank you to all the players who stood in to help get the game underway!
