WEEKLY NEWS FOR 25th JANUARY
Good morning all, thank you for another great night of football at John of Gaunt school! Some fantastic talent on display!
Premier League
The first game of the evening saw a clash between top of the table Borussia Munchenvadgeflaps and second place Team apetito with apetito taking a 2 - 0 lead into half time! However they couldnt keep the champions out and Borussia eventually ran out 4 - 2 winners! Bancoloana beat ABCDE FC 4 - 1 in a great game which saw Wayne Latham awarded Man of the Match. FC Fusion kept pace with the top two after seeing of Teenage Mutant Ninja Skrtels 5 - 2 with captain Myles Woodward putting in another outstanding performance for his side.
New boys Expected Toulouse are still waiting to bag their first points of the season after going down 5 - 1 to Exeter Gently.
Division 1
Wreckhead Rovers started the evening with a hard fought 3 - 1 victory over McDons FC to consolidate their position in second place! Lee Harris the outstanding performer! Bring Back Lloyds keep hold of top spot after a solid 2 - 0 over Ivory Toast. The game of the night in this Division 1 would have to be Ballers FC 1 - 0 victory over Class on Grass with both sides have a multitude of chances! Brandon's performance in goal for Ballers FC won him the Man of the Match award closely followed by Corey Tallentire's defensive performance for Class on Grass! The final game of the evening saw 6 Offenders move off the bottom of the league with a resounding 8 - 0 over Crips FC.

Just to make everyone aware that we will be extending the leagues to 10 teams in each as of 22nd March!
