WEEKLY NEWS FOR 30th AUGUST

Great to see everyone last night and thank you for another great night of football up John of Gaunt school in Trowbridge. 

Premier League
Last seasons champions Borussia Munchenvadgeflaps fell to their first defeat of the season against a determined Tinchy Sneijder team who took the lead early on through Micheal Philona and were able to keep the reigning champions at bay with a superb performance from goalkeeper Brandan Woodhouse. The Freshford Rejects also followed suit with a solid 1 - 0 win over Shunt Gunk Utd in what was a brilliant game to watch, both teams had multiple chances to effect the result but it was a second half strike that sealed in for Freshford. Bayer Alwayslusen return to winning ways with a confident display against an under strength FC Fusion, can they go on a challenge for the title? Beneteke Fried Chicken continue their charge for the championship with a 4 - 1 win against Bring Back Lloyds, they look like the team to beat this season. Welcome to Madiline Milan FC who played their first game with us last night, Largentina will be in attendance next week so we're expecting a full selection of competitive games!

Division 1
Expected Toulouse continue their brilliant form with a comprehesive 7 - 0 win over Magpies FC to lift them to third in the table. Fossil FC kept up pace with the leaders with a solid 3 - 0 win over Class on Grass. Last seasons fair play winners Scoring like Sonogo return to winning ways with a 2 - 0 win over McDons. Matt Andrews and his 6 Offenders consolidate second place with a hard fought 2 - 1 win over Ivory Toast.

Please remember that the full match fee has to be paid in full to the match night supervisor before kick off! It is the captains responsibility to organise this. If teams continue to pay short then they can have points deducted or even be kicked out of the league.
