Lincoln Tuesday 6-a-side: Bringing the heat!

The Lincoln Tuesday 6-a-side league served up some absolute treats at the Keith Alexander Football Centre this week, as round nine of the season produced some of the most entertaining games you’ll ever see. 

Bafana Bafana’s 6-2 win over Ghandis Barmy Army set the tone for the evening, with Jamie Richardson, Christopher Webster, Jack Kiszka and Jack Wilkes all finding the net for the winners. 

The spotlight was then on second-placed Murder on Zidane’s Floor, who did not disappoint. In an incredible display, they demolished Team 5 for a 13-0 win, with a ton of different goal-scorers, and Archie Richardson particularly impressive with his four-goal haul. 

Dilksys XI, however, showed no signs of being fazed. The leaders took to the pitch against Hippo Hunters to put in an authoritative performance of their own to crush their opponents 9-0. The Booths remained in flying form, with Sam Booth bagging a brace and Joe Booth, a hattrick.
