Lincoln Tuesday 6-a-side league summary 29/03/22

It was a fantastic evening of football this Tuesday at the Keith Alexander Football Centre as all 3 games for the Lincoln Tuesday 6-a-side league had goals aplenty.

Flying Without Wings extended their lead at the top of the league with an astounding 14-0 victory over bottom of the table strugglers, Inter Thebag. 

Ryan Wheatley bagged 6 goals for Flying Without Wings, putting pressure on fellow teammate McKenzie Hitchens for the golden boot, taking his total up to 8 with Hitchens on a very commendable 13.

Verve FC dispatched off Diabético Madrid comfortably with a 6-1 victory ensuring they keep their 2nd place position keeping them in the fight for the title.

Staying hot on their tails, Crystal Meth Palace, beat fellow mid-table side Beer 5-0 meaning the gap between Verve FC and Crystal Meth Palace is now only down to a goal difference of 12.

We now look forward to next week's fixtures with all eyes on a tasty tie between Verve FC and Crystal Meth Palace who battle it out for 2nd place. There is also a bottom of the table clash between Diabético Madrid and Inter Thebag who look to score their first points of the season against one another.
