Lincoln Tuesday 6-a-side league: Weekly News

Some great games were played this week in the Lincoln Tuesday 6-a-side league at the Keith Alexander Football Centre. 

Most noteworthily, the top two in Borussia Teeth and Lincoln ACS went head-to-head in a tasty encounter, which did not disappoint. In a seven-goal thriller, it was the leaders Borussia Teeth who eventually prevailed 4-3, but it was a testament to how closely matched these two title contenders are. Braces from Cameron Munnelly and Lewis Smith each saw the leaders open up a two-point lead at the top. 

Dilksys XI moved up into third, pushing their opponents Batty Slappers into fourth, beating them 3-1. Meanwhile, DS United got a walkover against Verve FC with last season's champions having a rather forgettable campaign so far.
