Louth Wednesday 6-a-side: A Brand New Season Begins!

The Louth Wednesday 6-a-side league returned to the Pavillion this week for another season of pulsating mini football action.

Newly promoted MLC were handed a nice start to life in the Premier League, as they had a walkover against Here for a Laugh, who also returned to the top division. 

Manby FC and Only Put Matip in locked horns and couldn't be separated as their match ended in a 2-2 draw. Reigning champions Louth Lads, who steamrolled their way to an perfect title run last season picked up where they left off, brushing aside Cesc Offenders 7-1. 

In Division 1, the relegated Beer and For Evra Young got their journeys to return to the top division started with wins. 

For Evra Young edged out 6 Guys 1 Cup 2-1, with Beer winning 3-0 against Murder on Zidanes Floor. Pathetico Madrid comfortably saw off Tekkerslovakia with a 4-0 win to take provisional top spot after the opening round.
