A wonderful season of the Louth Wednesday 6-a-side came to a close this week at the Pavillion. Let's take a look at the highlights from the final matchday and discuss the winners.
Louth Saint-Germain absolutely ran away with the title, and with it sealed well before this gameweek, they seemed to take it easy, but Beer secured third place with a great 3-0 win against the champs.
Puyol Pants down had a great season and even though they handed For Evra Young a walkover, they secured second place. Only Put Matip In fought till the end and treated us to a great final game against MLC, but despite winning 5-3, they missed out on safety by two points and will be relegated to Division 1 along with MLC.
In Division 1, Cesc Offenders ended their season in style with a 4-0 win over Bendtner Over to seal the title, and Brown Cow crushed 6 Guys 1 Cup 8-1 to guarantee promotion and second place.
Ganstas Allardyce propped themselves into third with a final day 5-2 win over Merseysides Red.
That brings a curtain on an enthralling season of 6-a-side. If you fancy your chances in the new one coming soon, hurry up and visit www.leisureleagues.net or contact Michael on 07341810083.
