Louth Wednesday 6-a-side league: Brand New Season!

A fresh new season of cracking football got underway this week in the Louth Wednesday 6-a-side league, with some stellar games to kick off the campaign. 

For Evra Young started the Premier League strongly, with a 5-2 win over Manby FC, while newly promoted Only Put Matip In showed that they belong with the big boys, dismantling Manby FC 8-3 in a fantastic match to go top of the table after the opening round. 

Reigning Champions Louth Lads saw that their title defence is going to be tough, but they edged out a 5-4 win in another pulsating game against newly-promoted Cesc Offenders.

In Division 1, Here For A Laugh are looking to bounce straight back from relegation and started their season with a brilliant 9-0 demolition of 6 Guys 1 Cup. Tekkerslovakia beat Pathetico Madrid 2-0, while MLC got the better of We Can All Dream 6-2 in another high-octane goalfest.
