Louth Wednesday 6-a-side league: Weekly Recap

Lots of great games were played this week in the Louth 6-a-side Wednesday league, with the second division seeing some particularly tasty matches. 

In the Premier League, Cesc Offenders leapfrogged For Evra Young to take third place by beating them 2-1 in a tight contest. Beer defeated Manby FC with the same scoreline in another hard-fought battle. 

The headline was the top-of-the-table clash between leaders Louth Lads and chasers Only Put Matip In. The former showed why they are defending champions, dispatching their main challengers 4-0 to open up a two-point lead. 

Division 2, meanwhile, saw three goal-fests. Leaders Here For A Laugh cruised past Tekkerslovakia 7-0 in another impressive showing. Second-placed MLC inflicted a heavy 6-0 defeat on Pathetico Madrid, while 6 Guys 1 Cup thrashed We Can All Dream 8-1 to move up into third place.
