The Louth Wednesday 6-a-side league returned for a brand new season of action at the Pavillion, and boy did it return in style.
In the Premier League, reigning champions Louth Lads kicked us off with a statement win as they took on Division 1 champs and the newly-promoted For Evra Young. Louth Lads showed no mercy however, as they dismantled the new boys 12-0 as if to send out a warning sign. Beer started their life in a new division with a walkover, as Only Put Matip in won 4-2 against One and Onlee.
Division 1 saw the relegated Cesc Offenders get off to a stuttering start in their quest to return to the top division, as they played out a 1-1 draw with 6 Guys 1 Cup. Gangstas Allardyce got off to an even worse start in the lower division, as Hardly Athletic beat them to cruise to a 5-1 win. MLC began their quest for promotion in immaculate style, with a 9-1 drubbing of Tekkerslovakia.
