In an exhilarating climax to the Swadlincote Sunday 6-a-side Football league, the final week saw some impressive performances as teams battled it out in the Premier League and Division 1.
In the Premier League, Paralympiakos put on an astounding performance, securing a landslide 15-0 victory over Boomerangs Wanderers. The star of the match and the league's top scorer was lukasz, netting an impressive 5 goals for his team. Paralympiakos' triumph sealed their position at the top of the Premier League, ending the season with 22 points and 10 wins.
There were also thrilling ties as 6 Men 1 Cup squared off against Mother Munchers, ending in a 1-1 draw. Similarly, Kneel In The Bath Utd and Charv played to a 1-1 stalemate, while Vivid FC and Isnt It FC battled it out in a heated match that ended in a 3-3 draw.
Over in Division 1, it was a neck and neck battle between Only Put Matip In and Acca For Spaca, which ended in a 2-2 draw. League Of Nations managed to secure a 6-3 victory over Raami FC, with Kieran Singh being the star player, scoring 2 goals for his team. Despite the fierce competition, Acca For Spaca emerged as the winners of Division 1 with a total of 4 points and a single win.
