Sunday 16th February - Swadlincote Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Swadlincote Sunday 6 a side league this week once again, with all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled and some closely competes games played.

In the first match of the Premier League division, 6 Men 1 Cup emerged victorious against Charv with a narrow scoreline of 2-1. 6 Men 1 Cup displayed exceptional resilience and strategic gameplay, which helped them secure this thrilling victory.

The second match saw WM Village disputing a tense draw with Isnt It FC with a score of 2-2. Both teams showcased their defensive prowess, and the game was a testament to their evenly matched skills.

The most prominent victory of the night, however, belonged to Inter Ya Nan, who triumphed over The Lamb Inn FC with an impressive score of 5-1. This victory can be attributed to the striking abilities of their leading goal scorer, Anty, who netted four out of the five goals.

In the final match of the day, Paralympiakos drew against Mother Munchers with a score of 1-1. Both teams put forth a valiant effort, and their determination was evident in the closely contested match.
