Sunday 19th May - Swadlincote Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Swadlincote Sunday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance for the season opener and some well competed matches played throughout the night.

In a nail-biting clash, WM Village edged past GAVATASARAY FC with a 3-2 victory. WM Village started the season in fine fettle, demonstrating their attacking prowess and setting the pace for the rest of the Premier League division.

Next up was an evenly fought match between Paralympiakos and Isnt It FC, which ended in a 1-1 draw. Both teams showed great potential and it's clear that the competition in this division will be stiff this season.

The match of the night was undoubtedly Oldman Asthmatic versus Lolly McDs Army, a goal fest that ended 8-4 in favour of Oldman Asthmatic. Oldman Asthmatic's attacking frontline was in scintillating form, scoring the highest number of goals in the Premier League division for week 1.

The final match of the night, a face-off between Murder On Zidanes Floor and Mother Munchers, ended in a 1-1 draw. The evenly matched teams left spectators on the edge of their seats as they battled for the win.
