Sunday 23rd January - Swadlincote Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Swadlincote Sunday 6 a side league this week, which saw all teams in attendance for their fixtures as scheduled!

We are delighted to welcome new team 'Budweiser FC' to the league this week, they fill the final vacancy and will look forward to a game to get used to the league ahead of the new season kicking off on Sunday 6th February!  We wish these good luck going into this game!

Lads on Toure keep their place at the top of the division with a comfortable 3-0 victory this week over Boom Xhaka Laka.  Netsix and Chill keep within two points of them and have a superior goal difference after they were 8-0 winners over Bayern Bru, although the games appear to be running out for them.  They will be looking to beat the new team and will be hoping for an upset as Lads on Toure face another recent addition to the league, in the form of Two Girls One Klopp, who were 4-2 winners this week against Inter Gresley FC.

We are pleased to see the league running as smoothly as it is at present, and wish all teams good luck going into the season finale with Swadlincote's premier providers of small sided football!  The new season will kick off on Sunday 6th February and all teams will be updated on this.
