It was a good evening's football in the Swadlincote Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled and some well competed games played.

In a night that witnessed unforgettable action, Gavatasaray FC edged out Isnt It FC with a hard-fought 1-0 win. Gavatasaray FC showcased their defensive prowess, keeping their opponents scoreless and securing the three points at stake.

Elsewhere, Lolly McD’s Army continued their sterling form this season with a convincing 3-0 victory over WM Village. Their attacking prowess proved too much for the opposition, who couldn't break through Lolly McD’s resilient defense.

The shock of the night came as Mother Munchers outclassed Paralympiakos with a resounding 4-1 win. Despite the odds, Mother Munchers demonstrated their remarkable attacking abilities and left their opponents scrambling.

But the evening truly belonged to Oldman Asthmatic, who claimed a stunning 9-1 victory over debutant team Barton Boys. The match was entirely one-sided as Oldman Asthmatic ran riot on the pitch, scoring almost at will.
