Sunday 24th November - Swadlincote Round-Up

It was a fantastic evening's football in the Swadlincote Sunday 6 a side league this week as all teams were in attendance for their matches, including new team 6 Men 1 Cup who made their league debuts with us.

In a tightly contested match, Charv managed to eke out a 1-0 victory over the resilient Mother Munchers. The solitary goal of the game was enough to tilt the balance in Charv's favour, demonstrating the significance of every scoring opportunity in such a competitive division.

A similar narrative was on display in the match between Paralympiakos and 6 Men 1 Cup, with the latter securing a narrow 1-0 win. The margin echoes the level playing field in the Premier League division, where every team has proven their ability to clinch victory.

Meanwhile, a thrilling face-off was witnessed between Main Rats and Isn't It FC, a battle that ended with a 2-1 victory for Isn't It FC. The victory was largely thanks to the game's top scorer, Anton, who netted both goals for Isn't It FC, taking his tally for the season to an impressive count.

The Lamb Inn FC vs WM Village match also ended with a 2-1 scoreline, favoring WM Village. The win was a testament to WM Village's tenacity and their ability to stay focused till the final whistle.
