Sunday 26th January - Swadlincote Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Swadlincote Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled and some well competed matches played.

In one of the most exciting games of the week, 6 Men 1 Cup emerged victorious over The Lamb Inn FC with a convincing scoreline of 3-0. The star of the show was undoubtedly Akash Modhvadiya who proved instrumental in their victory. Modhvadiya, netting two goals for his team, emerged as the top scorer in the Premier League division this week, showing his worth on the football field.

Elsewhere in the division, WM Village showcased an impressive offensive performance against Paralympiakos, winning the game 6-3. The Village team demonstrated their fighting spirit, securing a strong position in the league standings.

Mother Munchers also had a successful week, defeating Charv 3-0 in a fiercely contested match. Their solid defence and clinical finishing were the highlights of the game, signifying their strong potential this season.

The highest scoring game of the week saw Inter Ya Nan dominate Isnt It FC with a thumping 7-1 win. Inter Ya Nan's ruthlessness on the field was a sight to behold, leading to their formidable scoreline.
