Sunday 7th July - Swadlincote Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Swadlincote Sunday 6 a side league on Sunday overall this week, with all teams in attendance barring Gavatasaray who will be spoken to accordingly to confirm their return for the next round of fixtures.

In the Premier League division, the battle between Isnt It FC and Paralympiakos finished 3-0 in favor of Paralympiakos. The team showed their dominance on the field, outclassing their opponents and clinching the victory convincingly. The team's solid defence and tactical play were able to contain Isnt It FC, not allowing them to score any goals.

Another thrilling encounter was between Lolly McD's Army and Oldman Asthmatic, one of the most anticipated matches of the week. Oldman Asthmatic victoriously emerged by overcoming Lolly McD's Army 6-3 in a high-scoring game. The highlight of the match was Jake "the tall one," who scored an impressive four goals for Oldman Asthmatic. His remarkable performance earned him the top scorer of the week in the Premier League division.

Finally, Mother Munchers and Barton Boys played out a nail-biting draw, with both teams scoring two goals each. The spectators witnessed a tense match as both teams matched each other goal for goal. Despite the fierce competition, neither team could secure the winning goal, ending the match in a 2-2 stalemate.
