Sunday 8th September - Swadlincote Round-Up

It was a good evening's football overall in the Swadlincote Sunday 6 a side league, with all teams in attendance barring Barton Boys disappointingly, they have been removed from the league with immediate effect.

First up, we had Mother Munchers and Branston Boys locking horns, which turned out to be a tight match with Mother Munchers snatching a thrilling 3-2 victory. The game showcased a mixture of excellent teamwork and individual brilliance that underlined the competitive spirit in the Premier League.

In the next match, TAKING DA LOT FC delivered a scintillating performance against Isn’t It FC, dominating the game with a staggering 5-1 victory. The impressive scoreline affirmed TAKING DA LOT FC’s superiority on the pitch, showing their mettle against their formidable opponents.

The match between Paralympiakos and WM Village was another closely contested affair, with Paralympiakos narrowly defeating WM Village 3-2. Despite the valiant attempts made by WM Village, Paralympiakos managed to withstand pressure and secure a win.
