Sunday 9th February - Swadlincote Round-Up

It was another fantastic evening's football in the Swadlincote Sunday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night across the division. 

The night started with a fiercely contested match between Paralympiakos and 6 Men 1 Cup. The latter managed to edge past the former with a 2-0 victory, showing their strong will and excellent team play. The tight defensive line-up of 6 Men 1 Cup left no room for the attacking prowess of Paralympiakos to shine.

In the second game of the night, Mother Munchers demonstrated their attacking flair against The Lamb Inn FC by netting four goals against two. The match was a spectacle of resilience and determination, with the high-scoring extravaganza keeping spectators on the edge of their seats.

Inter Ya Nan and WM Village participated in a nerve-wracking game that saw seven goals scored. Inter Ya Nan emerged victorious, edging past their opponents with a 4-3 victory, showcasing their strong attacking line-up.

In a match where defence seemed to be the key, Isn't It FC managed to pull off a 1-0 victory against Charv. The lone goal proved to be the game-changer, reflecting the importance of each scoring opportunity in a game as unpredictable as football.
