Week eight of the St Leonards-on-sea Wednesday 7 a side Football league concluded last night, serving up a thrilling feast of football in the Premier League division. Despite the chilly autumnal air, the competition heated up on the pitch as teams clashed in a series of close and high-scoring encounters.

Basque Boys suffered a narrow loss to Brasilia with a final score of 2-1, a hard-fought match that kept spectators on the edge of their seats till the ultimate whistle. Brasilia displayed a strong performance, breaking through the solid Basque Boys' defence with skilled footwork and strategic play.

The match between Site Bashers and Garbage also ended in a 2-1 defeat for Site Bashers. The underdogs Garbage turned the tables, demonstrating great teamwork and resilience, securing a well-deserved victory.

UTP All Stars triumphed over Invincibles with a scoreline of 3-1. UTP All Stars, living up to their name, illustrated their star power and asserted their dominance on the field, much to the dismay of a persistent Invincibles side.

It was a resounding success for Union STL, who steamrolled their opposing team 6 Studs And Archie with a 7-1 victory. Union STL showcased a masterclass in attacking football, with Brandon Kovacs leading the charge and netting a remarkable four goals, making him the top scorer of the week in the Premier League division.

The heavyweight clash between Shaw To Lose FC and Petr Cech Your Pants ended in a 6-1 drubbing in favour of Petr Cech Your Pants. Despite the score, Shaw To Lose FC displayed commendable spirit throughout the match.
