Another week has gone by in our 6 a side league at The Vyne school in Basingstoke, so let's get into the thick of the excitement from Monday night...

PREMIER LEAGUE TEAM OF THE WEEK!

This week I felt Athletico Pathetico deserved to receive "team of the week". James Hartwell and his team always push for the title, no mater which division they are in and they nearly always have the quality to do so. This week was a big week for these guys, a loss this week would've put them in a very bad position to be able to have any chance of climbing up the table. Knowing this these guys still managed to ease to a 4-1 victory and most importantly climbing up the table to 3rd place. Next week they play their rivals in 2nd, so all eyes on that game!

DIVISION ONE TEAM OF THE WEEK!

Astroworldies are the next team that deserve "team of the week". These guys also had a big game this week. Salvy Chelton and his team had the chance to leap frog their opponents on Monday and climb to 3rd place. One player that really caught the eye of the referee on the night with a MOTM worthy performance was Liam Cook. Liam was very much vital for his teams match winning performance and they could really do with keeping him in the team for this possible late push for silverware.
