2 Girls 1 Klopp take the top spot!

Another Monday means another week of 6 a side football at The Vyne School and some VERY good games, resulting in some very impressive score lines...

PREMIER LEAGUE TEAM OF THE WEEK!

This week was one of those weeks that it was deserved by multiple teams, but one team really did the unthinkable and officially knocked Real Bannas off their perch to take the top spot. This was always going to be a top game against 2 of our best teams in the league, fighting for the title. This game was every bit as competitive as you’d expect from these two teams, but 2 girls 1 Klopp were really up for this game and really came out the blocks firing on all cylinders to award their opponents their first ever loss in the league and to leap frog them to the top of the league.

PREMIER LEAGUE MOTM AWARDS!

James Hartwell - Athletico Pathetico - James used that wand of a left foot again on Monday night to pretty good effect, although he did show us that he does also have a right foot, finding the back of the keeper 5 times.

DIVISION ONE TEAM OF THE WEEK!

First Touch got themselves a big win over one of their main competitors on Monday evening with a very strong performance that ensured that they finished the game 4-2 winners and jumped into 3rd place, so really not the worst night for First Touch and with only 2 points separating them from the runners position, they’ll likely have their eyes set on that target, especially now they have found their form with consecutive wins.

DIVISION ONE MOTM AWARDS!

Jack Mcgregor - Astroworldies - Jack is always one of the most important players in his team and Monday was no different, scoring to ensure his team claimed an important win and just generally putting in a MOTM worthy performance.

Kairo Crome - Cripswitch Town - Kairo is fast becoming a player that we almost expect to impress us every week and Monday was no different. Outstanding performance from him as usual
