Its all change in Division One again!

WOW! what an awful night of English weather we had to deal with on Monday night!

We are greatly thankful for our dedicated teams that turned up for their games, but most importantly the referees! Our referees are clearly dedicated to Leisure Leagues and no matter the weather, they are there and ready to officiate our highly respected 6-a-side league. Greatly appreciated guys!

PREMIER LEAGUE TEAM OF THE WEEK!

This week it must be awarded to Sherbourne Masters! This is a fixture that has history and is more than just another 2 points for both teams. Both teams come to the game very much needing the victory for the bragging rights until the next time they met. On this horrific night, it was Phil Case and his men who walked away with their head held high until next time! One man in particular was Phil himself, leading by example. The gaffer put in a noticeably strong performance for his team and was VITAL for their victory!

DIVISION ONE TEAM OF TH WEEK!

Astroworldies will have the bragging rights for 'team of the week' this week after their victory saw the newbies, My little bony topple from the top of the league and help Astroworldies climb the table out of the bottom 2. This was a strong performance from Salvy Chelton and his boys but it very much needed to be to challenge the newbies in their current form. Their opponents were missing their keeper on the night, but let's not take anything away from Astroworldies 'team of the week' performance, well deserved and in particular - Jack McGregor, who played very well, really putting in a shift for his team in the wind and rain when it mattered.
