Monday night success!

Monday 29th October was the first night of the brand new league at The Vyne School and what a success it was!

The league had a 100% attendance from all teams and staff and ran as smoothly as it possibly could.

Of course with the 3G pitch being BRAND NEW it was an absolute dream to play on, with many other players commenting on how nice it was. We really have been spoilt with our venue for the Monday 6 a side league!

"yeah mate, those refs were pretty decent to be fair" not a compliment you hear very often in 6 a side league, but the 'haven't got a kalou' captain felt it was one worth mentioning.

With all teams already confirmed for next week and expressing their excitement for their 2nd game of the season, word of the league must be spreading, as we've already got another new team signed up and ready for their first game next week!

Our first MOTM awards were handed out, with Daniel O'Flynn of 'man chest hair united' getting the best mention for his excellent, yet uncharacteristic defensive display and tracking back. Make sure you check the league page for the other MOTM awards.
