The Vyne School weekly update!

Another week goes by at The Vyne School with of course more entertaining football.

Still 2 Goals 1 Cup are unbeaten and have won every game of their season, what an incredible start to their debut season with Leisure Leagues!

PREMIER LEAGUE TEAM OF THE WEEK!

This week it had to go to Athletico Pathetico. These guys are off the pace a little this season and not in the same run of form that helped them become league champions last time, but they definitely gave us a glimpse of what they can do in their fixture this week. They are 6 points off the league leaders currently, but a 2-1 win against the 2nd place rivals stopped it stretching to 8 and kept them realistically in the race for 2nd place. One man that needs a special mentioned is their gaffer James Hartwell, who is no stranger to winning MOTM and this week helped him to add another to the collection with that wand of a left foot. We know the name, we know what to expect.

2Goals 1Cup - Jake Gorman - The captain putting in a MOTM performance, which is quality to see setting the standards!

DIVISION ONE TEAM OF THE WEEK!

The Jammie Dodgers will claim it this week with another good performance to go top of the league. These guys have improved massively since last season, we would never have expected them to be title contenders. They have made a couple of new signings, who have helped them massively this season. Im excited to see how these guys will finish this season and to see if they will continue to grow and improve into this league.

DIVISION ONE MOTM!

Charlie Gordon - Man chest hair united - Although his team didn't win on the night, he was a stand out player for his team and was essential in the middle of the park for them. Quick feet and a low centre of gravity makes him such a handful for defenders.
