We are back people!

It's official, the best 6 a side league in basingstoke is back at The Vyne School on Monday nights and what a success our first night back was, with all teams in attendance and very much excited to finally be back playing again.

Let's see what happened last night....

PREMIER LEAGUE TEAM OF THE WEEK!

ParisGanjan have to walk away with the award from last nights performance. This game should have been a big test for them, as this was a must win game to keep the heat on their title rivals and stay in for a chance at stealing the title themselves. This "tough" game ended 6-2, so these guys really meant business when they turned up last night, they are going for that title this season and leap fogging their opponents into 2nd place after a win that impressive is certainly not going to hurt that possibility. Quality performance lads!

DIVISION ONE TEAM OF THE WEEK!

This week I've decided that it must go to Man Chest Hair United. The rust was clear to see from pretty much all the players and first half was attack, attack, attack with almost no end product from them, mainly from Ben Rogers having a blinding game between the sticks. The first half ended 2-1 somehow, with almost 20 shots probably. It certainly wasn't their opponents best game, but Dan O'flynn's team were firing on all cylinders and had a brilliant game all round to push them up into 3rd place!
