We get started in another new season!

Let's have a quick catch up with what's changed at our 6 a side league on Monday nights at The Vyne school - 

We are now the best value for money 6 a side league in Basingstoke since increasing our games to 35 minutes and only increasing our match fees by £3 to £33. 

We now also have Golden Boot available for our players, which similarly to our MVP award, is also rewarded at the end of the season, so even more value for money! How do you win? Every time you score, simply tell the referee your name and it will get uploaded to the website for all teams to see who is the leagues leading goal scorer!

PREMIER LEAGUE TEAM OF THE WEEK!

Our newbies Tadley Tigers will take the award home this week, after a very strong start to their first season beating an already very strong and established opponent. I haven't seen too much of these guys in action yet, but have heard the referee saying " those Tadley tigers lot are a really decent side", which would support their comfortable win on Monday night. Let's see how these do this season, could they keep this form up and be title contenders?

DIVISION ONE TEAM OF THE WEEK!

Another league newbie will take it home in the bottom division this week after a 13-0 demolishing. Six Offenders really couldn't have started the league any better than a 13-0 win. This is some much needed confidence for these guys, especially as its their first game with leisure leagues. Could they also be considered title contenders this early into the season?
