BRIERLEY HILL WEDNESDAY 6 A SIDE BREAKING NEWS 19TH OCTOBER

A brilliant night of 6 a side football in the Brierley Hill Wednesday League at Thorns Collegiate Academy with all teams in attendance as expected. 

We also welcomed new team 'Not A Scooby' who managed to get there team together and play their first game against 'Bunch of Bricks', it was a great first game and the league looks forward to seeing how they settle. Good luck moving forward to the team!

Game of the night this week goes to the game between 'Inter Bred FC' and 'Southgate's Replacements'. Two very even teams that played out a very high quality and competitive game with 'Inter Bred FC' coming out 2-1 winners to end the winning start for 'Southgate's Replacements'. Second on goal difference now 'Inter Bred FC' are looking to challenge this season, can they keep the good start going?

'Spartacus' are our team of the week with a fantastic 4-3 win over 'Queens Park Strangers'. With this first win they will be looking to build on this when they take on league leaders 'Bunch of Bricks' next week.
