Abingdon 5 a side Monday results!

A great night of 5 a side down at Tilsley Park last night as the teams played round two of the season at our newly expanded Monday league.

We have new leaders in the Premier League on goal difference as Fruity Spartans made their way to the top with a 12-4 win over Bunch Of Bench Warmers. Victorious Secret had a points match win due to SWXI being away this week. Club Tropicana Drinks move up to third after a comfortable win over Hardly Athletic 9-1 while the other match in the Prem was a thriller as reigning champions Hadland Rovers beat last seasons runners up Cooper Troopers 8-7.

We are only into week 2 and already their is only one team with a 100% record in Div 1 and that is Young Guard who go top after a 8-2 victory against Substandard Liege. FCUOB remain in second spot after an impressive Basically Barca team produced a fantastic performance to defeat them 4-3. Savills and Class On Grass both picked up their first wins of the season as Savills won against Cunning Stunts 3-1 while Class On Grass edged their match with Shlong 2-1. 

Expected Toulouse seem to be getting into the habit of winning as they rose to the top of Div 2 with a 14-3 win over Survey Monkeys. Abingdonnys bounced back from an opening day defeat to beat Ivory Toast 6-0 and go second. Norfolk N Clue are third after their first win, beating Pique Blinders 6-1 while TASS also picked up a first win in a tight game with Unprotected Cesc 4-3.
