Abingdon Monday 5 a side end of season

Our Abingdon Monday Night Football League wrapped up its 10-week season last night with some thrilling matches and worthy winners. In an eventful night of football, teams battled for the top spot across five divisions, showcasing their skill, endurance, and strategy.

DIVISION ONE

In Division 1, The Six Offenders took the championship with a convincing 9-0 victory over Klopps And Robbers in their final game. Their sterling performance throughout the season saw them amass a total of 17 points with 8 wins. Royal Madrid also showed their prowess with a 4-0 victory over Cunning Stunts to finish as runners up while the other game saw The Broad Beans defeat Only Put Matip In 6-2.

DIVISION TWO

Division 2 was dominated by Pablo Escoballers who earned 16 points with 8 victories, marking the end of their season with a 5-1 triumph over Keowns Own. Their consistent performance positioned them as worthy winners.

DIVISION THREE

Sons Of Pitches made the headlines in Division 3, they ended the season as champions with 16 points and 8 victories, they left a wake of shock as they defeated Ctrl Alt De Ligt with a massive 23-5 victory in their final game. Expected Toulouse FC were unlucky to miss out on promotion as they produced an impressive 4-2 win over Pathetico Madrid who had lead the division at the start of play, but have to settle for the runners up spot as they pip Toulouse to it on goal difference.

DIVISION FOUR

In Division 4, Tescos Finest emerged as the champions with 16 points and 8 victories, Ange Summers were away this week so Finiest picked up a 5-0 win in their final game to seal the title. Xavi Dodgers and BarcaBoneHer put up memorable performances with 9-2 and 2-1 wins respectively, Optek going down 2-1 to Barca but still holding onto second spot to seal promotion.

DIVISION FIVE

Finally, Division 5 was claimed by Matty And The Colonisers, who ended their season with a solid 4-2 win against Casuals, earning them 16 points and 8 victories, Casuals still hung onto second spot on goal difference from Hardly who just missed out after a 3-3 draw with AgeDoesntMata. The other game saw Bumfica defeat Survey Monkey's 5-3.

As the final whistle blew on the last night of the season, these five divisional champions can bask in their glory, knowing that their skills, determination, and teamwork have truly paid off. Congratulations to all the winners, and we look forward to another exhilarating season of the Abingdon Monday Night Football League.
