In the competitive world of local football, the week 11 matches of the Abingdon Monday 5-a-side Football League were full of intense action, great goals and stunning performances. The games held last night in Division 1, Division 2, and Division 3 saw some impressive results that have proven critical in shaping the outcome of this season.

DIVISION ONE

In Division 1, The Broad Beans delivered a masterstroke with a spectacular 7-0 win over Beast FC, demonstrating a commendable dominance in the pitch. Meanwhile, Only Put Matip In defeated Local Benchwarmers with a remarkable 12-0 score, displaying an exceptional performance that left us awe-struck. The match between Royal Madrid and Keowns Own ended up being a thrilling encounter, with Royal Madrid claiming victory with a 6-4 score.

DIVISION TWO

Division 2 also saw some intense matches. Cunning Stunts secured a 2-0 victory over Rejects FC while Expected Toulouse FC beat Sons Of Pitches 4-2 in a closely contested match. Pathetico Madrid edged out Gorking Wanderers with a 3-2 win, and the match between Intayanan and Eze Top 3 ended in a 6-6 draw after a nail-biting encounter.

DIVISION THREE

The clashes in Division 3 were equally thrilling. Schofields U15s clinched a narrow victory over Xavi Dodgers with a 5-4 scoreline. Fiorentina Turner lost to She Was Only XI 6-4 and His Mind FC demonstrated a strong defence to beat Survey Monkeys 6-0 to go top of the table. Hardly Athletic lost to Casuals 2-0 and finally, Optek Utd managed a 4-3 win over Bumfica to move back into the promotion places.

As we look towards week 12, it’s evident that the stakes are high and every match holds the potential to change the game.
